The Objective:
P.L.A.Y (Providing Laughter And Amusement for Youth) wanted to raise awareness and collect donations and toys for their first annual charity event.

The Strategy:
Come P.L.A.Y in the Jungle Event

Come P.L.A.Y in the Jungle was held at Old Lion Manor, a private 3-acre estate located in the posh community of Hidden Hills, CA. Keeping in the spirit of the charity, guests were treated to jungle-themed dancers, exotic animals, henna tattoo artists, hot air balloon rides, elephant and camel rides, a casino and many other activities. Basketball and volleyball tournaments, as well as a Texas Hold 'Em game, gave the event a competitive edge. A mini carnival allowed guests to win stuffed animals and snack on favorites such as churros, popsicles and hot pretzels. Guests also brought their bathing suits and enjoyed relaxing in the amazing swimming pool complete with coves and waterfalls. A DJ spun from a balcony overhead to keep the energy of this event high. This over-the-top extravaganza had several sponsors and received donations from numerous local and national businesses.

The Success:
Over 2,000 attendees donated toys, books and games for distribution to children in hospitals, shelters and community centers. Monetary donations were also given to those in need. Organizers are already planning surpries for next year's much anticipated event!
