Event Title: Spike TV’s “King of Vegas” Series Premire
Date: January 2006
Location: New York and Chicago

The Objective:
To promote and celebrate the new Spike TV series “King of Vegas” .

The Strategy:
“King of Vegas” Series Premire Parties

In order to bring attention to their widely anticpated new series, “King of Vegas,” Spike TV threw two premier parties in New York and Chicago. New York’s event was held at Gotham Hall, a 17,500 square foot former savings bank. The venue contains 120-foot ceilings with an ornate stained glass skylight in the main hall. Smaller event spaces include a lounge, a mezzanine level that overlooks the main hall, dressing rooms and a private entrance. Chicago’s event was held at Lucky Strike, off Wacker Drive. The upscale bowling alley includes red-felted pool tables and a separate wine bar, while the bowling alley plays TV clips of classic movies and old-school bowling scenes running on a loop at the end of each lane.

The Success:
Spike TV girls, in logo’d outfits, greeted arriving guests with signature cocktails in Spike TV branded glasses. Each location had professional casino tables and dealers, a popular attraction for attendees hoping to win prizes. Guests savored fresh cuisine and enjoyed a selection of tasty desserts from the buffet table. Entertainment was provided by the city’s top DJ.
